Sunrise marks our point of entry
The alarm doesn’t ease you in gently
don’t ask questions or interact with me
Till I’ve had at least my morning coffee
It maybe bright but my head is cloudy
It’s far too early for Lewis Capaldi
Why is the radio always mocking me
Before I’ve even had my morning coffee
Oh cruel cruel world
These beans they bind
I need these filters
For the daily grind
Only just up and already in mourning
Meant to feel great but just feel appalling
You’ll get no well wishing or clarity
Until I’ve had at least my morning coffee
A groggy mind full of nighttime fluff
Knee jerk reactions flinging off the cuff
Yeah blah de blah it is my destiny
To save the world, but first morning coffee
Oh cruel cruel fate
In myself I find
Thinky me don’t straight
Till I’ve caffeinated my mind
Stuff needs sorting it’s a total mess
But with this strong brew I’m pretty impressed
I’ve started glowing I’m the buzzyist bee
Now I’ve hardlined in my morning coffee
Just don’t do research or look anything up
You won’t be pleased with how it gets to your cup
It’s a dire and troubled history
Perilous journey of the morning coffee
Oh cruel cruel trade
Damages untold
Treacherous escapade
All of the brain cells dulled
Oh cruel cruel world
These beans they bind
I need these filters

Amazon is just fan baiting us
To avoid what we all want to discuss
The shoddy writing and the plotted holes
Not race relations or switched gender roles
The house of mouse ironic juggernaut
Are the bad guys in the franchise they bought
So marvel at the huge quality drop
The train wrecks speeding and will never stop
This macabre puppet show has seriously got to go
It hides the truly ominous things
Use the knife in our back to cut the strings
If we say no what can they do?
There are no grounds for forcing you
No one really has any clue
Just look it up for goodness sake
You get five minutes in your break
Wisdom comes when we discuss
The secrets always ominous
Power corrupts, distorts desires
Hired to fight not cause the fires
Spinning lies to stay on top
For all our sake this has to stop
Various factions blocking interactions all day
So much more left to say
We just get in the way of the plans
With our constant substantial demands
To be treated equally
By that I mean socially
Watching the burning rings of power
Total waste of an hour or 8
A whole work day and a break
Basically slapping the Tolkien estate
No thank you Bezos
This I will not watch

On a deified lake
Going it alone was her biggest mistake
Pop up a level
Sis tenet wake
Circling solos civic systems break
Getting half way and turning back quick
She ate all the carrot and then ate the stick
When the palindrome calls her home she will obey
Looping the timeline into a two noon day
Dear Hannah it’s in the word play
You’re doomed to repeat them today
And tomorrow probably the same
Get ready to reset the game
Nun in a kayak
Madam of the sea
A blip on a radar is all she might be
Bob up a level
All tenet be gone
She did it alone and nothing went wrong
Getting half way and turning back fast
All future decisions were made in the past
If the palindrome gets her home she’ll be amazed
Reliving the wow till the ending of days
Oh Anna it’s words on a page
Just a looping transitional phase
Repaper to hide all the cracks
It’s all simply fudging the stats
When the palindrome sends her home she’ll be just fine
Just a nun in a kayak with some Jesus blood wine

Wake up, you’ve slept too long
The alarm suggests somethings wrong
There’s a crack in the cryostasis
It’s classified and on a need to know basis
Looks like the starships been on autopilot
But let’s face facts no one knows how to fly it
We’re just in a constant tail spin
How do we get out of this mess we’re in
It’s planet size with no way to steer
Let’s hope we don’t hit any asteroids dear
The course of history changed in a blip
We’re just the passengers on the Earth Spaceship
Seeded here quite a long time ago
The solar panels in the sea will all glow
We try to break it with all that we’re worth
Massive damage to our home, spaceship Earth
The maintenance crew
Have got too much to do
Let’s keep our cabins clean and tidy
Pretend we’ve got inspection Friday
Twenty to a single berth
Economy class on spaceship Earth
Let’s treat our ship with more respect
From captain down to lower deck
Coz if the engine blows a gasket
It’s hell time for us without the basket
